Grupo Silgest has recently been certified with the ISO 45001 standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management. The ISO 45001 standard is the result of the work of more than 100 experts from 70 countries for more than five years and is the first international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
The adoption of this standard will provide the Grupo Silgest with a suitable framework for managing and continuously improving occupational health and safety within its group of companies, regardless of their size, activity and geographical location. It will also allow us to focus on contributing to the sustainable development of our organization.

Another great advantage of adopting ISO 45001 is that it adopts the common structure of “Annex SL”, also called High Level, which provides full compatibility with other ISO standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
By adopting this systematic approach that includes employee participation, Grupo Silgest can integrate occupational health and safety systems into its business processes, which will contribute to the prevention of accidents and long- and short-term effects on the health of our employees. It will also allow us to create an adequate platform to develop a positive safety culture that will lead to the well-being of our workers.
We also inform you that three other companies of our group: La Herramienta Industrial, PERTESA, and Toolquip Trading Pty Ltd have also been certified with this standard.
